How will Creative Selling® help you with promotional efforts?

DSI takes relevant excerpts from your book and prints them in Creative Sellingâ, along with a byline.  Your excerpts become an advertisement for the book they were taken from.  Readers will gain interest book based on the merits, utility and quality of the excerpt.

What do I submit?
Featured excerpts are best if between 250 to 400 words in length. However do not hesitate to send your articles if longer - our creative staff may find use for them in a variety of our publications. Content should relate to selling, marketing, prospecting, management, personal growth, inspiration, closing, questioning, listening, customer service and other sales related topics. 
The submission should uncover a problem and identify a solution readers could begin implementing immediately.  Excerpts should not be first-person.  Bullet-points, numeric list formats and metaphors are acceptable. 
We periodically place excerpts between 400 to650 words. We welcome these submissions however; it diminishes the likelihood of being published. 
For best results send one article 400 to 650 and four smaller excerpts 250 to 400 words.

How do I submit my excerpts?
- Paste them into the form by following the EXCERPTS link on the navigation bar. Have the Copyright License and Release form completed and signed by the appropriate parties.
- Mail a hardcopy of the book the excerpt is taken from to along with the signed Copyright License and Release form to:(You may fax the release form later if necessary to 315.598.1182)

Allow appropriate time for the book, release and excerpts to be reviewed (2 Weeks). Once we receive your material, your works will be considered for placement in a upcoming issue.  Placement, design and photographs will be selected by our staff.  We will work diligently to provide you timely feedback as to our intensions related to the works you have provided. We will not place multiple excerpts in the same issue. But we may publish multiple excerpts form your submission over time.
We make an effort to inform you of each utilization and send a copy of the printed publication to the person submitting the excerpts but do not guarantee a copy or notification. Submitting materials in no way obligates DSI or Creative Selling® to publish your excerpts or return you materials.
